First Ever MineSweeper Tournament in Budapest

I arrived at Budapest-Kelenföld at 12:20. There I met a member of the organization team who guided me to the location of the tournament. The line 49 (the pic shows the tram station Kelenföld-Tèr) brought us directly to the university.
At the tram station we met Damien and Roman, together we went to the registration where Gergely was waiting with the bad news: the Germans hadn't come and Martin wasn't there as well. Martin had problems with his flight connection at Berlin, we didn't know about Oli and Robert.

Damien was now the favorite but Gyula Pap proved to be a good opponent for him. The 3 hours of sweeping passed much too fast. I managed only one sub70 so Gergely could overtake me easily. Roman had a realy bad session, nevertheless he was out of reach for Gergely and me. Gyula and Damien both scored a bunch of low 50s and Damien was very close to achieve a sub50 but failed by less than a tenth. Finally Damien had the better end and won the tournament.
After the tourny we (Damien, Roman and I) found Gyula and his wife and had a nice discussion with him and took some photos of (from left to right) Gergely, me, Roman, Damien and Gyula.
There was also an Hungarian sweeper who's name is not so well known: Istwán Kricsfalusy. I hadn't an easy task to keep him behind me in the ranking. We can look forward to see him on the AR soon (I hope).
While Gergely informed the community about the result of the tourny on Damiens Guestbook, Gyula, his wife, Damien, Roman and I had a snack at the next Burger King.
Gergely picked us up there later and we went to - well - something like a tea house. They had pretty good snacks and I orderd a green tea (it was extraordinary delicious). We thought that they would also have a snooker table but had to find out that there were just two pool tables. István joined us there (he potted not bad).
Gyula mentioned that he'd like to have a rematch with Damien (Gyula has gone sub50 lately) and we talked a lot about Damiens site, why he came to Europe, Minesweeper in general, total sun eclipses in the age of Babylon and all the other stuff that came to our brains.
Later that evening Damien, Roman and I continued to discuss such topics in the hotel. After Roman told us, that it would have been cheaper for him to travel to Vienna than to Budapest and that he possibly would like to come here, I decided to try to organize a tourny here in Vienna in summer.
Unfortuneatly I couldn't stay in Budapest longer (I had to be back home at noon on Sunday) so I left Budapest in the morning.
