Thank you! As of today my XExternalEditor was downloaded 400 times since it has moved to Sourceforge.net. That was two months ago. Go on try it yourself and edit a file that was uploaded to a MediaWiki via the the external edit feature.

I just released the newest version of the MediaWiki External Editor ‘XExternalEditor‘. It adds translation posibilities for all gui elements. The default language of the gui is english. A translation for german is already finished. If you wan’t to translate everything to another language you are welcome to do so. Just get the words_de.i18n file [...]
